Huangshan Daoist QI GONG exercises are gentle spiral exercises that engage the whole body with a focus on the lower dantian and spine. Mount Huangshan comes from one of the 5 sacred mountains of China. Exercises strengthen muscles, tendons, glands and internal organs, especially the reproductive organs. The most famous of the Daoist Qi gongs is the Swimming Smiling Dragon.
5 Yin Organs: (ZHANG) chi gong
5 Yin Organs: (ZHANG) These are the solid organs. They produce and accumulate vital substances. They determine the functions of all other organs. In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) the emphasis is on function and energy (qi) rather than their anatomy. TCM looks at the energy of their functions as an interaction between them and not as an individual mechanism isolated from the whole. The 5 yin organs are: Lung, Kidney, Liver, Heart, Spleen.
