Master Alex Dong

Master Alex Dong is a fourth generation Taijiquan Master of the Dong (Tung) family. He started his formal training with his father, Grand Master Dong Zeng Chen at the age of five in Hebei Province, the heart of martial arts in China. In 1990 he started a class of his own in Hawaii, and has continued to teach ever since. In 1991, Alex Dong was awarded the US National Tai Chi Chuan championship in moving push hands and the Best Martial Spirit Title for all competitors while representing the state of Hawaii. In 2003, he relocated to New York City where he established his new school, the Alex Dong International Taijiquan Association. Alex Dong founded the Tung Ying Jie Taiji Legacy in honour of his great-grandfather Tung Ying Jie  to keep the traditions of the Dong family style alive and to recognize Dong style Tai ji as one of the most important practitioners in Taiji history. Master Dong recently translated a large part of Tung Ying Jie’s book titled Taijiquan Explained commonly referred to as The Red Book. He also wrote other books on Tai ji Chuan .Master Alex Dong is a devoted teacher who gives to his students the real meaning of Taiji, infecting them with an enthusiasm to work harder and with greater confidence. He also underlines the role of the soft Yang form in improving both health and self-defence skills. Alex Dong leads seminars worldwide in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Greece, the Czech Republic and in Asia.

Master Wen Mei Yu

Master Yu has started her studies in therapeutic chi gong in 1953 in Sanghai China at the age of 17 years old. Since then she is devoted in the study and teaching of therapeutic methods and Tai Chi chuan. She studied Chi gong with Grand Master Guo Ling (creator of Guo Ling Chi gong), Zhao Jin Xiang (creators of Soaring Crane Chi gong), Yang Mei Jun (Wild Goose Chi gong), and doctor Zhuang Yuan Ming (creator of Liangong) In Τai chi chuan she trained with Wu Ying Hua (daughter of Wu style Tai chi chuan Creator , Wu Jian Quan). She is professor of Jing Wu Athletic College, General Secretary in Sanghai Physical Culture Association and has been Council and Judge in various Championships. She has been working personally with people in serious illnesses. These days she lives in California and has been travelling in North America and Europe giving workshops. Recently she has been honored in the Martial Arts History Hall of Fame.

Two very special teachers from Czech Republic who have lived in England for more than 30 years. They are the creators of Chinese Internal Arts Association. Their first main teacher has been Master Chu King Hung and now they are disciples of Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang. They currently teach Chen style Tai Chi chuan, Chi gong, Yi chuan, and Bagua.


Master San Gee Tam (Golden Flower Tai Chi Organisation)

Master San Gee Tam was Lydia Tyllianaki’s first teacher. He has been a devoted student of Master Chu King Hung in London. Now he lives in USA where he was born, where he has started the Golden Flower Tai Chi School www.goldenflower.org.
