I have been practicing tai chi for about a year at your school. In the past, I had also tried some other teachers for another year, as well as qigong lessons and seminars.
Practicing tai chi gives me a balance that is a function of both things, physical and spiritual. It also gives me a flexibility that I need. This is also in function of the character I have. That is, I work both together in reality, both the body and the mind with these arts.
On a mental level, what it offers me is peace for me. I have a lot of thoughts and for years I have been doing meditations, which I stop.
This is also a method and I have found that I am doing well lately, because I see that I am simultaneously gaining balance, which means that the thoughts are leaving and I have better balance now.
So I believe that I have achieved some things in a short time as I work with it. In fact, maybe I have been relieved of some burdens in my life, so this helps me concentrate more.
It helps me in everyday life in the same way. That is, the more I am in a state of peace, the better I experience my day.
At this stage I am in, I need to improve it.
So there are times when I try to do the same thing at home through your video, but I have difficulty because when I turn it on, I can’t have the screen in front of me.
I believe that if we master the technical part, then we get to the essence and we can do more and better practice. Let’s go deeper.
If I were to say in a single phrase or word what practicing tai chi and qi gong has changed in my life, I would say that it is peace for me. Peace, calm, calm.
