The exercise I just needed! Magical transformation

I didn’t know about Tai Chi! My doctor recommended it to me after I was diagnosed with autoimmune disease. I’ve never been a gym person, it’s something I get bored of… but Tai Chi has easily won me over for the past 3 years! Maybe it’s just a matter of time and choices until we find what suits us.
After a busy daily life, long hours of sedentary work and sometimes stress, class time offers the break I need. It “unclogs” the joints, activates the muscular system, relaxes the breathing and offers balance and flexibility. It also exercises my memory and makes me insist again and again so that I can learn the order of the form! Let’s not forget that it is a type of martial art so it certainly teaches us self-defense and maybe the brain will look back at stored memories if ever needed.. Beyond the body and mind, the mental benefits are equally important as it offers incredible calm, relaxation, well-being and peace. By the end of the class it manages to transform us… it’s magical!
All of this could not have happened on its own, it is due to our teachers: Lydia, Thanos and Manolis as well as my wonderful team!
